ABOUT THE EISNERS

The Eisner Awards are named after writer/artist Will Eisner (creator of The Spirit, A Contract With God, To The Heart Of The Storm) and are awarded at the annual ComicCon International held in San Diego, USA. Nominations are made by a five-member judging panel consisting of comic book professionals, journalists, comic-shop owners, distributors, and other members of the comic-book industry and the subsequent voting is then open to all comic book professionals, journalists, comic-shop owners, distributors, and other comic-book industry types.
